Greetings to you all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We are very blessed to be here starting this new season at Horse Lover’s Park.  We do so appreciate this facility and the people from the park who work with us each time we hold an event here. This year is already going well, we have a good start on our ministry and event schedule.

We will hold our next event with the NBHA at the new arena in Queen Creek on Feb 14th and 15th.  We will have pointed events for both days and cowboy church on Sunday morning Feb. 15th.  This is also an AW$D event so get all your points in one place.

Our Jubilation of Love Benefit has been changing dates so we will keep you posted as to place and actual date. Start looking for some good stuff for the auction. This will be a two days of competition, auction and ministry, we very much looking forward to this great event.

We also have scheduled our July race for the 11th and 12th in Williams, AZ. It is always a great time with Bob Dean and the wonderful town of Willams. Plan to spend the weekend in the cool weather.

We will let you know soon the up coming dates for more of NCBRA’s events!

As you our members and friends know this barrel racing association is a ministry first and that is our focus more this year and in the years to come. We are very thankful for your support and enthusiasm. We are heading to Harriman, Tennessee on March 27th to the 29th  to host a NCBRA “Run for the Son” barrel race. We will be working with Lynn McKenize and the Road to Glory ministry to put on three days of ministry and barrel racing.

As NCBRA’s Board, we are committed to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many as we possibly can. Getting people to know that God’s love is for them always, and that Jesus made a way for us to receive that Love. So much of the time religion and the traditions of man have come between us and our Father God, but we in NCBRA want to give out the message of grace and pure love from God.  Not because we are pure but because Jesus is and this is His message.  He came to this earth to show us the true God, the Father and to give us all the open door to receiving the Holy Spirit through the forgiveness of our sins by the completed sacrifice of our Lord and our Savior Jesus.

We have an event ministry team that will be working together to have more ministry at many more barrel races this year.  We welcome your help and support for this.  Just by becoming a member you are supporting this effort and by coming to the ministry times at the events you also are showing your enthusiasm for Jesus Christ!

Our website is becoming more up to date this year and more user friendly as we work on it. Thank you for checking it out and for your e-mails of appreciation this last year. We do love being able to have this ministry with all of you as our partners.

This year we will be doing yearend awards.  We will also be adding money to our events to increase your winnings and to bless our supporters.

The point system for NCBRA 2009 will be as follows:

Points will count from your best 5 shows.

Event participation points will be 5 per event for each rider competing.

Each age group will have a champion rider and awards on down according to how many riders are in each age group.

All points earned for each rider from each event will be added together no matter which division the points are from.

Each division will start with 15 points for the 1st place counting down , 14, 13, ……and so on.

We will have a tie breaker at the end of the season to settle any duplicates we may have.

Blessings in His Name!
