CIRCUIT
This year the Sonrise Circuit will hold at least 8 pointed events. We will only count your five (5) best pointed events.
You must have at least three (3) qualified
pointed events to compete in the National finals.
Each class of events - COLTS (15 and under)
Barrels, WARRIORS (16-49) Barrels, LIONS (50 and up) Barrels and Open Poles starts with 100 points
for the fastest time in the 1D and then goes to 99, 98,..........as to the
number of riders in the 1D. The 2D starts with 80 points and on down from
there, the 3D starts with 60 points on and the 4D starts with 40 points.
The divisions are set with the
fastest time of the day penalties not included.
All divisions will be set not
counting penalties.
A contestant who has a penalty
will only receive 10 participation points for that run.
Each contestant who crossed the
starting line will get 10 points for participating.
You may ride any horse but if
you ride more than one during an event you must chose your pointed horse.
If you want both horses pointed then you must pay for a second
pointed horse.
Only family members may share a horse during an event.
The all riders may
enter the Open also.
